MOTHER 3: Morning Glow

between working and other shit i've barely had the time to draw much or respond to notes so i'll get to that after work tomorrow, r/n I'm going to sleep

so I recently (read: Friday) got my first tattoo done. It's the tagline of the MOTHER series, "No crying until the end.", encircling my left wrist in the font used in the original, unreleased English MOTHER 1 translation.
Needless to say, the MOTHER games mean a lot to me, to the point where not only did I permanently disfigure my body in tribute, but it was also my first tattoo-- a decision which has taken me years to come to. Yadda yadda a lot of shit about taking agency over my appearance or something. (ofc, there are other, not very subtle additional reasons for the choice of what I put where I put it. The MOTHER games are very, very important to me.)

So I figured I had to draw some MOTHER fanart.
I chose this, drawn while listening to "Morning Glow" from the new broadway revival of Pippin, because once upon a time I associated the song with the end of MOTHER 3 and, well, nothing has been alright since.
