friend asked me to, SO
Already talked about Lingomon here:
His appgattai partner is Volumon, a tool-type volume control app. He can mute people to prevent them from being able to attack ((i perpetually h/c digimon as being unable to use their attacks without calling them– like how the pawnchessmon needed their partners to call their attacks in savers)), or blast them with super loud noise with the speakers on his ears and tail. The switches on his headphones control his attacks, blue for Volume Down and red for Volume Up.
He’s a very lazy little appmon who likes nothing more than food and music. Sometimes when he’s not paying attention he’ll accidentally turn the volume way way up and blast you in the face– you know, that feeling when your headphones are up WAY TOO LOUD.
Put them together (lingo! volu! lingo! volu! lingovolulingovolulingovolulingovolu–) and you get
“フィール ザ ボリュム! オベイ ザ グルーブ!”
Groovemon, a super-grade entertainment-type appmon born from the fusion of Lingomon and Volumon. He’s a song-finding app– like Shazam or Soundhound, you play a song and he finds it.
The speakers in his hands resonate in a special way with his headphones, so when he puts his hands to them, they create super-destructive sound waves.
His “belt” is a scrolling ticker that displays the names of his attacks as he makes them, and when he’s not attacking, it repeatedly scrolls his catchphrase in katakana, as above. (it reads “feel the volume! obey the groove!“ i THINKKKK Vs are really tricky to transliterate and i’m very dumb)
His belly and the stripes on his gloves, fins, and legs are all equalizer bars, and they light up independently.
if i ever make him a Buddy this is their theme song tbh only half kidding
