[rp] Space Patrol Mako

It’s the future, we’re in space, there is space crime, and you’re playing anime space cops and criminals. This centers around the ESPR Force, AKA the Emergency Space Police Response Force, which has a psychic space cop in every squad. To give you an idea of the tone, the chief of police is one of those creepy fortune telling mystic robots in a cabinet that spits out paper messages. Why? Because this fortune telling machine predicted crimes very reliably. And it wasn’t too shabby at administrative work either, so WHY NOT.

The story will be a nonsense amalgamation of a bunch of silly themes, with inspiration from One Punch Man (a ridiculous hierarchy of celebrity justice-enforcers with ranks and popularity polls), Space Patrol Luluco (space police misadventures with shoujo transformation sequences), Gurren Lagann (giant fiery shounen justice robots? WHY NOT), and more. We’re aiming for a free “anything goes” vibe, hopefully without venturing into “randumb.”

It’ll functionally be a play-by-post forum RP. I’m not 100% sure how it’ll all work out pacing-wise — the idea and tone is very manic, but the RP itself will have to be a little slower because us losers creating this are working full time jobs, going to school full time, etc., so we’ll post what we can when we can, you know? But if you think this is something you could find interest in, come on over. We’ll start panning out more of the details of an actual, semi-coherent story soon, especially once we know who and what we have to work with.
