[p] the obligatory 'real boy' au now in HD

i have no idea why i'm putting effort into this

who is himself an AU version of my main sonic OC:


So here's what i have so far:

-Synth the [bio-engineered] Salamander
-He's an AU version of Glitch, not a separate character
-Where Glitch is based on Artificial Chaos + the Gizoid, Synth is based on Artificial Chaos + Shadow. Either way, he's the result of GUN trying to rip off/improve on the Artificial Chaos.
-Where Glitch is hardy and tough, Synth is much weaker but more agile. All of his bodily fluids are artificial chaos liquid, and he can secrete it out of his skin like a mucus membrane. He's able to make it more or less viscous basically at will, and can use it to literally slip out of danger, or make it stickier so he can climb walls or hold onto things.
_{(in a game, this would manifest as slowly self-replenishing energy meter, interacting with two buttons -- 'slippery' mode, which would basically be a speed boost, and 'sticky' mode, which would confer greater control and wall-climbing at the cost of speed -- and holding down either button would slowly drain the meter.)}
-He heals extremely fast-- if he gets hurt, you can actually see his flesh knit back together like a timelapse. He can regrow limbs if he loses them, but it takes much longer and much more energy. If he's hurt badly enough at once he can still be taken down.
-He has a companion chao named Wave. (Glitch has one named Hop. I'm a nerd.)
